Alexandra Hanasz

Alexandra is an eighteen-year-old university student with a passion for the world of law. Alexandra is looking to create a career in international business law where she can use her language and communication skills to work internationally. She is the reigning Miss T.E.E.N Poland and was a former representative of Canada as well. In 2011 Alexandra won the title of Miss Teen Alberta-World. Alexandra represented Alberta on the national level at the Miss Teen Canada World competition and placed first runner up, she also won the title of Miss Teen Swimwear and Miss Teen Supermodel. A couple months later, Alexandra was selected to be Miss Teen Canada at the Miss Teen International pageant in San, Jose, Costa Rica where she placed in the top six. Currently Alexandra is preparing for the Miss Teen World pageant hosted in Houston, Texas starting June 24, 2013; and is also preparing for the Miss Teenager Universe Competition hosted soon after on July 20, 2013 in Panama City, Panama. 

Aside from pageants and university, Alexandra has been training dance for over fifteen years and has been trained under the Cecchetti and RAD Syllabus in ballet. While dancing in a full time ballet program she also had the opportunity to dance for the Edmonton Contemporary Dancers and Edmonton Festival Ballet companies. Alexandra has travelled to Los Angeles and Europe to further her dance skills. Alexandra is very passionate about Polish literature, culture and language, and is using her bilingual skills to become a recognized interpreter working in diplomacy and foreign affairs. Although living in Canada, Alexandra is tightly involved in the Polish community and frequently travels to Poland each year to visit family and to assist her mother in establishing the first hot yoga studio franchise in Poland. Alexandra is a supporter of recreational tourism, out-door sports and the environment; each year she attends a two-week mountain biking trip across Europe hosted by her family to explore nature throughout European countries first hand.

Alexandra has worked with the Free The Children Organization since 2009, and has hosted numerous events to raise money for the organization so children in developing countries could have access to proper education and basic needs such as pure drinking water. 

Alexandra is passionate about public speaking and writing; she has appeared on TV and radio shows such as Etalk, ET Canada, Shaw TV, City TV and Polish Radio in the recent years.
